I had the opportunity to photograph Sidney last Thursday. It was a little cloudy in South San San Francisco which helped me a lot since our session was set at 2:30 in the afternoon.
This was my first time working with a model under 3 years old. It started fairly easy since we've picked the playground as our first location. Sidney was in the mood to play along with us. However, I didn't take his age into consideration. I quickly lost control after 15 minutes into the session. Suddenly, I found myself chasing him around. And after 5 minutes of running here and there, it got clearer to me that I'm definitely out of shape. ... Who knew right ... LOL ...
Mom to the rescue. His Mom not mine .. She pulled out her secret weapon - his favorite car. I could tell right away that I'm in control once again ... so to speak. I quickly grabbed my camera took advantage of the situation. This worked for about 10 minutes then back to square one again. But I did manage to photograph some great photos of him with his car.
The session lasted for about 30 minutes. I had a blast working with Sidney. It's definitely a learning experience for me. Here are a couple of my favorite photos taken that day. Enjoy . .. .
